Day 1 - Welcome to Costa Rica
Upon arrival in San Jose, your driver will transfer (approximately 3 hours) you to your hotel in the Monteverde area and give you your hotel and tour vouchers and answer any of your questions regarding your trip Overnight Hotel Sapo Dorado or similar (2 nights)

Day 2 - Monteverde Reserve Hike / Coffee and Sugar Tour
After breakfast, explore the enchanted Monteverde Cloud Forest with expert eyes on a guided walk, looking for a variety of birds and mammals while learning about the diversity of wildlife and fauna of the cloud forest. In the afternoon, you will walk through a coffee farm where you will learn about all the biodiversity of the crops like coffee, banana, plantain, orange and lime. See how the sugar cane is made into in sugar products. The evening will be at leisure. Breakfast is included this day.
Day 3 - Chocolate Tour
Today you will transfer to the Sarapiqui Rainforest. In the afternoon you will cross La Tirimbina suspension bridge to a former cacao tree plantation. During the walk you will see the natural beauty of the cacao tree, while a naturalist guide reveals the secrets of transforming cacao fruit into chocolate. You will see the chocolate making process first hand and even have the opportunity to treat your taste buds to organic rainforest chocolate. Return to your hotel for an evening of leisure. Day 4 - Tirimbina Nature Reserve / Choice of activity
Today you will visit the Tirimbina Reserve where you can observe different eco-habitats such as old cacao plantations, secondary forests, wetlands, river banks and the primary rainforest. After lunch you will have the choice of one of the following adventures. Remainder of the day will be at leisure. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included this day. Choose one of the three following activities: • Horseback Riding: Explore the beautiful trails heading through patches of tropical rainforest - home to iguanas, monkeys and an array of bird species. All horses are well trained, and saddles and equipment are professionally maintained. • Canopy/Zipline: More adventurous participants are invited to enter the forest canopy and see jungle life from a unique and different perspective through tree platforms. You can proceed with a professional canopy guide to the canopy launch pad, where you will be instructed on high-platform zipping techniques and safety procedures. You'll enjoy the spectacular scenery of etched river canyons from above the forest floor. This adrenaline rush is an unforgettable experience. • White Water Rafting or Floating, Class II & III: on the Sarapiqui River River Rafting Tours are available at different rafting levels. Costa Rica is one of the world's most famous destinations for whitewater rafting. The class II rapids is a river float trip with smaller basic rapids, making it an easy paddle perfect for bird watchers and nature lovers in general. This part of the Sarapiqui flows past dense stands of tropical rainforest, where you're likely to spot everything from trogons and toucans to monkeys and river otters. Class III rapids: First time paddlers will be delighted with this wet and wild experience combining lush riverside scenery with the thrills and spills of whitewater rafting.
Day 5 - Tortuguero Rain Forest, Jungles
This morning you will transfer to Rio Danta for breakfast then onto Tortuguero which is only accessible by boat or plane. Relax and watch for wildlife on this boat trip through the canals. Upon arrival your time will be at leisure to get acquainted with the area of Tortuguero. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included this day. Overnight Mawamba Lodge or similar (2 nights)

Day 6 - Tortuguero National Park
This day, explore the smaller canals of Tortuguero National Park in special boats designed for better visibility to get a close look at the jungle vegetation and wildlife. Entrance fee to Tortuguero National Park is not included and must be paid by the passenger at the park's entrance. (Approximately $10.00 per person). You will also visit butterfly gardens, an iguana farm and the Ranarium. Remainder of the day will be at leisure. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included this day.
Day 7 - Tortugero to San Jose
Today you will transfer by boat and land to San Jose for your last night in Costa Rica. There is time this evening to explore the city. Breakfast, and lunch included this day. Overnight Hotel Parque del Lago or similar (1 night)
