We pick you up from your San José hotel and head for the rapids, stopping to enjoy a hot Costa Rican breakfast along the way. As the rafting leg of your trip begins, you'll put in at the Pacuare River, one of Costa Rica's truly unspoiled natural treasures. The Pacuare offers miles of meandering waters, sweeping bends, and wild white-water rapids. This river has been declared a wild and scenic river, and offers some of the finest white water in Latin America, providing the adventurous rafter with a ride of unbelievable natural beauty as it winds deep inside one of Costa Rica’s most impressive primordial rainforests. After a wet and wild white-water ride down the plunging Pacuare, you’ll arrive at Aventuras Naturales's Pacuare Lodge in time to enjoy the afternoon sunset as you snuggle deep into your hammock, swinging back and forth without a care in the world. After breakfast, you will have some time for hiking and to bid farewell to this natural paradise before rafting the remainder of the wild and scenic Pacuare River. Rafting becomes even more exciting today as you begin to use the skills gained the day before. You will witness some of the most pristine waterfalls where you can swim, splash and live it up in the still-water pools along the way. Lunch will be served along the riverbank. Lost Canyon Adventure Canyoning

Today’s activity is an experience of a lifetime. This unique, multi-sport adventure combines rappelling, down-climbing and river tracing in a deep, tropical canyon. Imagine yourself in the midst of thick rainforest at the top of a magical canyon full of tropical waterfalls with surprises each step of the way. Your guides will start off with a thorough safety talk to explain important rappelling and down-climbing techniques. You will be provided high-quality technical climbing gear such as a harness, helmet, gloves and you will get to practice your first descent on a mini 15-ft waterfall, just to get the hang of things. Take a deep breath! And there you are, on a sturdy, government-approved platform looking down into the depths of a 150-ft massive waterfall. You will rappel down. Make your way along the river bed by down-climbing and rappelling a series of about six waterfalls that get gradually bigger and BIGGER! . In the afternoon, hike/walk the base trails of Arenal Volcano, active since 1968. This tour concludes with a visit to a local hot springs where you can enjoy a therapeutic bath in the naturally heated waters from Arenal Volcano. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included this day. Experience an adrenaline pumping canopy (ZIPLINE) adventure that begins with a short walk to the first platform, where your guide will check all of your gear with great detail. After the inspection, your guide will explain the way to proceed in the cables, as well as all the necessary information you need for the tour. The feeling of flying through the trees is unmatchable! The Arenal Paraiso Canopy Tour is considered to be one of the best canopy tours in the area. It has 12 platforms and 350 meters of zip lines at approximate heights of 85 meters above ground. All of the cables have been designed taking in to consideration the beautiful surroundings. In this way, you have the perfect combination of nature and adventure! This adventure will provide incredible memories of the Costa Rican rainforest! At the end of your tour, you will slide above the Arenal River. After breakfast, you will take a guided hike/walk of Manuel Antonio National Park. Manuel Antonio National Park is deservedly the most popular park in Costa Rica with beautiful white sand beaches surrounded by emerald waters and jungle. Your naturalist guide will explain the history and geography of the area as well as help you get the most out of your visit, pointing out sloths, monkeys, iguanas and a multitude of insects and birds during this very informative walk In the afternoon, you may choose one of the following two activities: • Damas Island Kayak: Paddle the smooth protected inland waterways and explores the unique ecosystem of an island mangrove. Abundant with wildlife, the Damas area also offers a swimming beach.(Timing will depend on the tide. If tides do not permit this tour, you will receive another adventure in its place). • Coastal Paddle Kayak This is a more challenging open ocean paddle along the rugged coastline from Quepos to Manuel Antonio National Park. Paddle by islands that are nesting sites for unique coastal bird life including boobies and frigate birds; visit the secluded Biesanz Bay and surf kayak at Espadilla beach. your last ATV Jungle Safari: Experience the thrill of traveling on your own ATV into the mountains outside of Quepos, where you will enjoy spectacular mountain views and the tropical rainforest. Your bilingual guide will lead you through rustic unpaved roads, giant African Palm plantations, cattle farms, and typical towns such as Naranjito and Londres. We will then take you to a breathtaking waterfall, where you will have a chance to cool off in the refreshing crystal-clear water. After cooling off, continue riding up and down the winding mountain roads, all the while surrounded by the lush and beautiful tropical rain forest
